1. Counselling Training & Practical Exposure

Topics: Counselling Psychology, ethics & confidentiality, rapport building, active listening, communication skills, emotional intelligence and Mental Status Examination (MSE).

2. NGO / Rehabilitation Centre Visit

Real-world exposure to psychological, emotional, behavioural and social issues faced in rehabilitation and community-care settings.

  • Areas: addiction recovery, child welfare, special-needs care, trauma & abuse, emotional & behavioural disorders

Topics: Fundamentals of career counselling, stream & career selection, aptitude & interests, planning for adolescents and emerging career opportunities.

  • School visits & student interaction sessions

  • Preparing career guidance reports from results

5. Application of Therapies in Real Life

Approaches introduced: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Behaviour Therapy, Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Play Therapy basics, Mindfulness & Relaxation, and Hypnotherapy.
